Ouch, that wasn't the news I was hoping to find out, being without Alonso isn't all that big a deal given the wealth of talent we have at our disposal in central midfield. But losing Agger for between 4-6 weeks is a bit of a problem as we don't have any real cover for Carragher and Hyypia.
Jack Hobbs might be highly rated but he's also highly inexperienced, still with our busy schedule coming up I'd expect he'll find himself starting against Reading in next weeks Carling Cup game.
