Mourinho leaving is a problem for LFC

So the self styled 'Special One' is no longer at Chelsea, apparently he left by 'mutual consent' which is management speak for 'getting sacked'.

But this could present problems for Liverpool, because we dropped 2 points against Chelsea already (controversial I know) it makes things harder for us with Manchester United playing them this Sunday (easy 3 points for them) and Arsenal to follow suit in a couple of months (should be another few easy points for them as I doubt Chelsea will have acclimatised by then).

While I wouldn't want us winning the Premier League without beating the top teams along the way (although I'm sure I would get over it if we did), it's now more important that we do beat ManUre & Arsenal.

Given Arsenals impressive result last night and the fact they are top of the prem, I think they will be our main opposition this season. Nobody seems to be mentioning them because of their inexperienced team though.
We have them at home on 27th Oct, should be a cracker, lets hope we have Alonso and Agger back by then.

I wouldn't be so sure about three easy points for Man Ure. The (anecdotal) evidence is that a team with a new manager gets a bounce as players strive to impress the new gaffer. West Ham beat Man Utd in their first game under Alan Curbishley, for example.
