Following in the footsteps of Torres & Voronin, Ryan Babel ensured his first goal for Liverpool was going to be an excellent one. He took out 2 of Derby's defenders with a sublime dummy and finished off well. All we need now is to see Benayoun follow suit and make sure his first is cool too !
The more I see of Voronin, the more I'm convinced himself and Torres would make Liverpool's best strike partnership, he's got pace, skill, intelligence and is a hard worker. No doubt Crouchie and Kuyt will keep the two of them on their toes throughout the season ;-)

Hi, I’m never one to be negative, but I’m feeling slightly frustrated in regards Kuyt's first touch and finishing. Credit given to him on his fantastic work rate and contribution over all, but for a striker, his first time touch control lets him down at times. His finishing is a bit off at the moment also, which is why i agree with you that Voronin and Torres is my preferred choice up front. We looked on-fire against Derby (although their defending was dreadful), and I’m sure if we keep this current form up, we'll be well up there come Christmas.
Darren,

Ah sure, football being what it is, in a couple of months we'll probably be saying how Crouch & Kuyt are the preferred choice the moment Torres & Voronin lose form ;-)
I cant see Crouch hanging around as a bit part player. I reckon he will be gone at the next oppurtunity, surprised he didn't go before the 31.08. The good news is we should sell him for twice what we paid for him, but I would rather keep him if at all possible
The way things are unfolding, we could put Erik Meijer alongside Torres and he'd look okay
