Reina may have had an off night, silly foul to gift them a penalty and nearly gave Quaresma a clear chance by flapping at a clearance, most of his passes went straight back to Porto's players (same can be said for the whole team).
Pennant on the other hand was guilty of some rather rash challenges, both his bookings were when the ball was either clearly gone or out of play.
But what of the likes of Gerrard & Torres ? Some people may be tempted to use Pennant or Reina as scapegoats but Stevie G and Torres put in lazy inept performances.
I reckon Pennant did us a favour, it was only after his sending off that several of Liverpool's players started to put in an effort (only just) which was sufficient to hold off Porto.
