With the upcoming game against Arsenal arriving on the back of a host of poor Reds performances, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly concerned. Arsenal are on fire at the moment, Fabregas in particular is phenomenal, whatever happened to our Stevie G ?
But Arsenal have now lost Van Persie for a month to injury, and with our injured players arriving back shortly (Torres, Kuyt, Alonso, Kewell) it gives me a glimmer of hope that all is not yet lost ;-)
I hope we win (in any old fashion) against Everton & Besiktas so that the lads will hopefully have regained their lost confidence/motivation by the time we face Arsenal next week. Otherwise we will need Arsenal to lose several more players for us to have a chance !

Losing Persie will be a blow to the Arsenal. But I wish it was Fabregas who was out injured. He is the one who really makes them tick.
More than that I wish we would just start playing well again.
Our strongest 11 versus their's should still be enough to give them a right good game. Amazing that at start of seasonn if you'd said that come mid-Oct one team would be top and the other fourth you'd have said that top would be us and Arse fourth. Ho-hum.
Let's hope we start playing well again for sure and show our quality, especially against Everton who will sit for a 0-0 at home and hope to nick a 1-0 set piece before rapidly releasing a DVD to comemmorate it. I can't abide dropping ponts to dross like Everton!
i think it is good that the blue shite have something to celebrate - imagine for all those people who live in liverpool - it is good they both can have fun - they get to have a dvd for winning a game - we get to have dvds for winning trophies - HA HA
well liverpool just beat everton and i believe this time the luck has come to liverpool side.with the quality of liverpool players,i have no doubt liverpool will beat arsenal,especially when van persie is injured.
