John Carew landed Riise a right hook on their team bus last year ! I can only assume they have kissed and made up as now Carew claims that John Arne Riise is no longer happy at Liverpool and that the pair of them linking up at Aston Villa is a distinct possibility.
Riise has a tendancy to score some phenomenal goals, which has endeared him to Reds fans the world over, so his leaving would be kind of sad :-(
I wonder what it is with teammates trying to knock the stuffing out of the poor lad (Carew & Bellamy), maybe it's because he has never told us how he scored 'that' goal ;-)

LOL. Poor guy but theres always been something about him that i found really irritating.
Hope we get someone like Philip Lahm to replace him - he would be an amazing signing for us.
Yeah, it would be cool if we got Lahm, but realistically I doubt it :-(
We've recently been strongly linked with another spanish player called Fernando Amorebieta who can play left back/centre defence and is a far more likely signing for us.

I suppose Rafa Benítez is exagerating about Spaniard signings at Anfield. It's not positive to have so many players of coach's country.
Let's suppose that Liverpool FC will win both Premier League and UEFA Champions League this season with 4 or 5 spaniards that play very well with Benítez. If in the next season Benítez leave Anfield, probably his countrymen will follow him and you'll be without a great team.
