It's the one thing I fear most whenever the international break comes up, that we might suffer a 'break' with one of our top stars. Fernando Torres picked up a knock to his left ankle and sat out yesterdays training session with Spain. While they expect him to be fit for Saturdays match, they concede that his situation will be reassessed for the friendly next week.
Erm, that's nice but it's LFC who pay his wages whether injured or not, how about letting him sit out the Finland friendly (surely an easy win for Spain) to avoid aggravating the injury. That way we might have a fit and able Torres for our derby with Everton saturday week !
