Reds might get a kick up the Arse

At this stage I can't see us recovering form against Arsenal on Sunday. We're going to be relying on a healthy dose of luck to take any points off them or perhaps Hyypia can figure out which net to score in ;-)

There's few positives to take from last nights game, Gerrard looked to be playing better (about time), Babel on the other hand showed the most potential with some superb control, balance and turn of pace. As a team though we still lack cohesion!
Qualification from Group A is still in our own hands thanks to Porto & Marseille drawing, but we have to win all 3 games :-(

Regardless of what happens on Sunday we're still in the title race (Arsenal & ManUre will have their own rocky patches too), I feel we only need a couple of good games for the guys to get their act together.

i agree, there is far too much negativity coming from some Liverpool fans at the moment.

i wouldnt be at all surprised to see Liverpool take top spot in the premiership some time early November [even if its just for a few hours] and where will all the dissenters be then?

Jeez I admire your optimism guys but we've been pants now for the last 6 or 7 weeks. Portsmouth, Brum, Wigan, Marseille, Blushite, we just are NOT playing at all well and Rafa is now under the microscope. The plus is we're still unbeaten in the league but it isn't likely to continue because unless we buck up, league results will fall away too. I'm scared shitless of the Arse, they are everything in attack we should aspire to be but aren't and o top of it we're stretched at the back with Agger out. I just hope we're still in with a shout come January and the transfer window!

True we've been terrible for a while now - but points wise we're at our most healthy in years, plus away form is spot on.

If we do get knocked out of Europe, the media will call for Rafa's head, but the guy might still end up walking away with a domestic double/treble at years end !!!

2 years ago we ended up with 82 points (we were knocked out of europe) and had a worse start than this season !!

But yeah missing Agger is proving to be a big problem for us (hmmm the makings of another post;-) )
