Benitez has confirmed that the injury plagued player will be back training in a few days. When Kewell is on form, there can be no denying he's an excellent player with experience, who can pass, shoot, dribble and give us the penetration we need down either flank.
Hopefully with his contract due to run out and claiming that he wants to stay with the Reds he will be very motivated to perform when given his chances. This should provide for some interesting competition between himself Babel, Pennant and Benayoun.
Competition for every place is what Benitez has been striving towards and we're just about there now, hopefully our recent blip can be put aside and the Reds can march to the title come season end :-)

If there's one thing I want it's to see Harry play 25 games in a row with no injury problems. Too many fans bash him like he gets injured on purpose on something, how can we really judge him until he gets another run and shows us if he's got anything left. He's been on the treatment table for about 100 years now and we STILL haven't found anyone to replace him.
Terence I think it's slightly less than 100 years ;-)
Was checking out your blog there, pretty darn cool :-)
I'll be adding a non-LFC blog link section to my site over the weekend and yours will certainly be on it ;-)
(I've also kinda emailed it to a couple of dozen people - tis a good laugh)
Cheers mucker, I'll be doing likewise with my army of Liverpool supporting friends!
Paul,
Despite their injuries, Harry never was a great player. In my point of view, knowing the millionaire budget of top european clubs like Liverpool and being as exigent as a Brazillian can be, he would be just a useful player for group in at least the top 5 Brazillian clubs.
Babel has a great future and Benayoun is excellent.
My best regards,
