No mind games or any nonsense, just a very straight forward and firm commitment from Benitez that for any clubs which are interested in obtaining his services that he's fully committed to Liverpool FC.
While no one is bigger than the club, I do believe Benitez is more important than the players and considerably harder to replace. In Rafa I believe we have someone who is well capable of bringing the title back to Anfield, so this is certainly very good news for our club :-)

There was no way he would have left for Bayern Munich anyway.
He has put too much time and effort in to Liverpool at this stage to just throw it all away.
Bayern are just a shadow of the club they were several years ago and wouldnt be worth the hassle.
But I bet if his lifelong favourite team (Real Madrid) came looking for him he would give a very different response.
Sure Madrid did come looking for him and he used it to give Statler and Waldorf the nudge they needed to cough up some dollars.
For sure.
