The Yanks are about to see the other side of the Kop, shame they won't be there in person to witness it in the game against Porto tomorrow night but you can bet every single media outlet around will be only too happy to report on it.
I think Rafa made a stupid mistake playing this out in the public eye, but am relieved by reports yesterday that he intends to call a truce, which I hope the Yanks will reciprocate, no one is bigger than LFC (including the owners).
I still don't think this is as big as the media makes out but if left unchecked it will escalate beyond repair and then we all lose out. As far as most LFC supporters are concerned though, this is as serious as the media makes out which is why we'll see a mass show of support for Rafa from the Kop tomorrow night.

The muppets (thanks McDanger) clearly show that they are muppets by putting Rick Parry in charge of transfers - that displays a lack of respect for Rafa - if anything Parry should be given the boot.
Cant wait to see all the banners on display - Rafa is way more important to our club than G+H
For sure Hicks & Gillet arrived with best intentions but things have changed, stadium costs are rising exponentially which will radically affect their refinancing plans.
I don't believe that the Yanks are objecting to him getting players on free transfers, there has to be more at issue here !
This is typical of Benitez he done the same with all his clubs = Extramadura / Tennirife / Valencia - he just wants public sympathy before moving on
the media might be talking a load of crap but the yanky doodles are not helping by the things they are saying. they could put an end to all this if they wanted but they do not. i hope the whole of anfield shows how much more important rafa is tomorrow night. that will teach them to mess with liverpool fc.
Check out this petition to keep Rafa Benitez - over 12,000 signatures in less than 2 days :-

I'm in there somewhere as well Michael, although I did refrain from calling G&H Statler and Waldorf. Just this once.
They're really misreading the situation. At long last people are now talkig about our NET outlay during the summer and the actual degree to which they've backed Rafa, as well as their grasp on transfer windows, is now under scrutiny.
