No laughing please but maybe UEFA wouldn't be doing their job properly if they didn't investigate the record breaking result. Actually what do UEFA do in their ivory towers that's of any real value ?
Apparently there was a small rush of bets placed before kick off for a heavy win in Liverpools favour (who in their right mind would have done the opposite!). I wonder if UEFA will also be investigating Arsenals & Manchester Uniteds heavy wins too, somehow I doubt it !
I hope they investigate our away leg with Besiktas also, how on earth did they manage to beat us ?!?

If there was any truth in it you would think they would have put more effort in to losing convincingly in the first half. Plus in the second half they left it pretty late to conceed lots of goals !
This kind of thing does happen unfortunately and I would not be surprised if one or two players were maybe paid off or something.

No need to be paranoid. Why would you assume Uefa are not investigating Arsenal and/or Man Ure's wins? If there is any result in Europe that gives off a whiff of sulphur, it was this one. And it doesn't for one second impugn the integrity of Liverpool
Sorry if I came across as being paranoid, didn't think I was or am, just wish we were given credit where it was due.
We played well and to do that against a team of Besiktas class, a good few goals was inevitable, many of which came towards the very end when their players had given up the ghost at that stage.
