Payback time for 1965 unless the referee....

....gets bought again (LINK). So Anfield gets to welcome Inter Milan in the next round of the champions league. With the form Inter Milan are in at the moment this is going to be a very tough draw. If we're to win the competition of course we'd have to beat the best teams anyway, but it would've been nicer to meet Inter Milan at the later stages.
I don't think we've anything to fear by them and if anything I reckon they should fear us, we're well capable of winning the champions league. Watching the draw take place I could only think thank god we can't get Liverpool ;-)

The Italian league is pretty weak these days so the fact Inter are unbeaten is not all that big a deal really.
Sure it will be a tough game but I think we will walk over them. The only thing which bothers me is that we get to play at home for the first leg, I much prefer the comfort zone of the 2nd leg being in Anfield.

Agger will be back by then and I trust himself and Carra will be able to put the shackles on Ibrahimovic & Adriano.
Unless of course the poor twat gets injured again in which case we're f**ked !!

Its much better to get a strong team because we have a tendancy to not play so well against the smaller teams. But i think inter are a vastly overated team. Am very confident we can turn these guys over.

If theres one thing i have complete confidence in, its Rafa in europe, I think its cool we got Inter already, I prefer a variety of teams to play against in Europe instead of the same old ones each year, so this is a good draw for us :-)

True story; I never bother watching out for our draws in Europe, the simple fact is that there isn't one single team out there that I fear meeting in the slightest so it's largely irrelevant to me. That and the fact that I'm more worried about the Premier league as a priority.

That said, I'd hate to play United in Europe and lose. When it looked like we'd get them in the final last year I felt ill at the prospect.
