Terse statement reveals little

LFC released a rather terse statement regarding the meeting between Rafa and the custodians of LFC. They don't go in to the details which we all want to hear, such as what's happening with transfers, the new stadium and Rafas position in LFC. But it does say that the discussions were positive and constructive which for now can only be interpreted as a good thing. When the transfer window reopens in a few weeks we'll get to see just how positive and constructive they really were !

I'm rapidly losing faith in the yanks. They've already talked too much PR shite about giving Rafa money for transfers and still haven't really delivered on their promises so I'm not believing anything they come out with now.
That said I hope we get shut of Momo and Riise etc. in January to raise some funds. And if I thought we were getting a real top class replacement, I'd reluctantly say goodbye to Crouchie as well if the money was good.
January will certainly tell us all a thing or two about the yanks and where the club is going.

I would much rather we kept Crouchie and sold Kuyt. Crouchie can play and score goals. Kuyt works hard for the team but his touch and finishing lets him down badly.

Mostly I'm just hoping we seal the deal for Mascherano and get some quality defensive cover. We definitely need a new striker but that'll probably wait until next summer.
