Were they briefed to say nothing at all ?

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a good thing we [finally] beat Luton Town. But I really don't see it as being all that big a deal and I was more interested in the post match interviews.

Fair play to Rafa for taking things in good spirit with the stupid interviewer being overly persistent in asking him the same question several times despite Rafa clearly not willing to be drawn on the subject of Klinsmann. I thought it was funny the way he took the mickey out of the twat (reporter) by saying the TV should pay him more money for being a fantastic reporter.

As for Stevie G (ok so it was a nice hat trick) I was disappointed he didn't take the opportunity to back Rafa and I can't help but wonder if it's a case of him being resigned to the likelihood of Rafa leaving or maybe he was just briefed to focus only on the match.

True the journo was a complete arse but he was just doing his job.
There is nutin wrong with what stevie said. H e was probably told by rafa to keep shut.
Luton might be a weak team but at least we are scoring goals which should give us confidence for the more important games coming up.

Would've been nice if Steve was willing to publicly back Benitez but I doubt its worth worrying about.
But good on Benitez for socking it to Shreeves !
