Oh bugger, the one team I didn't want us to meet in the Champions League quarter finals was Arsenal and sure enough we've drawn them. That means we'll have to play them 3 times in a row (in just one week) !!!
The first leg will be at the Emirates Stadium on April Fools Day, which of course means we've the luxury of the 2nd leg being at Anfield. If the lads maintain their champions league confidence going into this tie, we should emerge victors and will mostly likely have another semi final meeting with Chelsea (hopefully it won't result in a 3rd time lucky for them trying to beat us in Europe).
What are the odds of facing Manchester United in the final, imagine that, to win the champions league this year we've to beat the top 3 teams in the premiership, kinda rubs salt in to the wounds of finishing fourth in the premiership :-(

I think we are going to be up against it with Arsenal. They are the only team who manage to play their own way when they come to Anfield.
They are probably the most difficult team left in the champions league and what are the odds we get beaten by them twice at the Emirates and then on the visit to Anfield, we kick their ass and knock them out of Europe. How sweet would that be ;-)
I think the Arse are shitting themselves....
Don't worry my paymeisters, I will be fit for the final - HA HA
I'll be disgusted if Harry Kewell ever plays for us again - what a joke (and a bad one at that).
I don't think we've got anything to fear in Arsenal, it's going to be real tough, but they'll be worrying about us and their young side just might fold in the cauldron that is Anfield on a European night.
I've got a feeling we'll get Chelsea in the semi's and knock them out again.
@jessica & @dummy - I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal did beat us both times at the Emirates, only for us to beat them at Anfield, then follow that up with victory over Chelsea in the semi-final. As long as we win the Champions League, I don't really care how it all plays out ;-)
I can handle being drawn against the Arse because I can handle losing to the Arse. The thoughts of having to play Chelsea again though sickens me because they will eventually beat us in Europe, and the thoughts of playing the Mancs in a European Cup final would pitch the country into a Civil War and literally set brother against brother. I'd curl up and die with the tension of it I just couldn't hack it at all.
Remember this quote from Arsene Wenger :-
“Liverpool have the same kind of support, but Everton are a bit more aggressive because they are up at the moment,” Wenger said. “Over the last one or two years, it has been one of the noisiest grounds and has a great atmosphere. Liverpool is the same, but now a little bit more genteel.”
I bet he's gonna regret that come April 8th...
@terence - what I wouldn't give for civil war, it would be an absolutely mind blowing night :-)
@robbie - well here's hoping he does ;-)
