Rafa has confirmed that Liverpool have agreements with 2 young players and also a senior player who can walk in to the Liverpool first team (LINK).
With all the constant media speculation about possible new signings, the most pragmatic I've heard yet is regarding the brazilian Rafinha (aka "Little Rafa") who plays at right back for FC Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga. It also helps that the player himself has already welcomed the idea of joining LFC ;-)
However he'll only be turning 23 this September, so I'd hardly class him as a 'senior player', but maybe Rafa does. Hopefully we will be securing his services as he's a solid defender who is comfortable with the ball and has the ability to burst down the flank, not to mention he's equally good with both feet.

In the past LFC have been only too happy to reveal who the youth players are mid season, whats with all the hush hush.
How long do we have to wait until they publicly reveal who these signings are ?
If I were a gambling man, I would put my money on the senior player being Gabriel Heinze with one of the youth players being James McCarthy.
Ronaldinho has just been confirmed as the new senior signing !!!
@dummy - Heinze maybe, McCarthy I doubt as they're understood to be south american youth players
@inderjit - April Fools Day ?
