Gillets recent 'revelations' during an interview on Canadian radio (LINK), merely confirms what many have guessed to be true, that his working relationship with Hicks has long since broken down.
At the core of the issue is money (let's keep all romanticism out of the equation), Gillet wants to cash out and finance his other toys, while Hicks is holding out to maximise his profits before leaving LFC.
They've reneged on many of their initial promises and landed the club in a great deal of debt. Whatever problems they're experiencing behind the scenes is largely irrelevant, as are their attempts to manage their public personas. All that matters is that LFC is in the hands of people who are willing to move our beloved club forward. Time for Gillet & Hicks to Walk Alone.

Just had a listen to that, its funny how he cant even bring himself to say Hicks name at all. Seems more like he is just trying to paint an innocent picture of himself.
His talking of possibly buying LFC 100% himself is pure nonsense, he cant afford it all. Pure nonsense.
