Crouchie isn't happy and wants to leave

Despite being clearly out of favour this season, that hasn't stopped Crouchie from turning in some excellent performances for us. He's scored 8 goals and provided 4 assists in just 16 starts this season.

If his post match interview is anything to go by,
then I think Crouchie wants to leave Liverpool, he just doesn't sound happy and was non-committal. He's far too good to be sitting on the bench week in / week out.

Shame himself and Torres never got much of a chance to forge a strike partnership, it would've been interesting to see how our 2 best strikers performed together given time. But I can't see that ever happening as a more permanent shift towards a 4-2-3-1 formation seems inevitable.

Crouch is such an excellent player, his ball control is amazing at times, case in point being his excellent goal against Arsenal today.
I've long felt Benitez has wanted something similar to what he had with Valencia (4-2-3-1) but it's taken time to get the right personnel together.
Now that we've got Torres, I don't see any room for Crouch in such a formation.

Crouchie is a wonderful player, but he needs to be playing in a first team squad, and with our new formation he is just not going to be getting any time. Hope he goes to a team where he is on the first squad and I wish him all the best.

Ah poor Crouchie, ya gotta luv him, but a move is definitely best for him. Would much prefer if he stayed though and played more often.

A shame to see him go, if he goes. Having such a tall quick clever footballer in the team, who scores goals, even on bad days should be an asset to the team, but there is turmoil in the air.....

I've mixed opinions on Crouchie, sometimes I want him to stay, other times to go.
But yeah his goal was pretty darn cool (mind you he's scored some crackers over the years) but as Tim puts it "there's turmoil in the air" :-(
