Global Warning - Number 19 is coming

The greatest thing about beating [finally] Manchester United, is that the lads performed very well in doing so, and this without Torres and before Gerrard even got on the pitch. Very attack minded, excellent possession, and dominant for the majority of the match.

How can I even begin to choose a man of the match, there was so many stand out performances. Mascherano was awesome but then the likes of Alonso, Riera, Kuyt, Skrtel, Aurelio, Babel and Keane also had excellent games. It was just too much fun to watch.

Imagine the confidence booster this is going to give the lads. Expect a run of excellent form now. It's early days yet, but you can sense something big is going to come of this.

After recent performances I didnt think we could be good enough to beat the scum. How wrong ! Best celebration Ive had in ages. Was chuffed for Alonso who looks back to his best which should help him keep his place in the team.

it was a long time coming but well worth the wait. i still have a big cheesy grin on me face. better keep the momentum going now so we can really make a title push.

Its about time we got a great result against the Mancs and we fully deserved. Hate listening to Fergie complaining his side looked like a conference team instead of giving us credit. We completely controlled the game, the Mancs didnt have a choice in the matter.

The only bad thing about this game was that I couldn't get a ticket for it. Best bloody result against the scum in soooo long. Roll on #19

@dummy - it was some party yesterday, can only imagine how much bigger the party will be if we do lift number 19 this season

@roger - yeah, it would've felt we were robbed again if we didn't secure all 3 points

@bbb - lol, i think we can all identify with that :-)

Beautiful performance. The players will get a lot of confidence from this knowing that they don't need to rely on Torres and Gerrard to do everything for them. Belief is priceless and it's something they will have now.

Calm down Paul mate. Still early days. Good win though.

@ Jessica. We played well yesterday but in the recent past we've had good games against United without getting the result wee deserved.

coincidentally, Babel's also no. 19 (:

@jessica & @ny-ynwa - it was a most welcome surprise, and the confidence the lads get from it could certainly propel us to greater things (i really hope)

@paul grech - i'll be honest the euphoria has yet to die down for me, and i hope that same effect will carry the lads for a nice run of wins. I've always been gutted in the past when we've outplayed them only to lose, so completely thrilled we got what we deserved this time. Still early days, and yes i can be overly optimistic at times, but hey this is LFC :-)

It was good to see getting the victory over scum, but we should not getting carried away. Hopefully, we will now go on a winning streak. Come on Pool!
