It's not about who scores, it's about who wins

Apart from when we beat United, our form this season has been terrible, thankfully the results have been pretty good. The thing with derby days though, is that form generally goes out the window. The possibility of beautiful football is non-existant, and we expect physical battles.

Even though Torres & Keane have both been off form this season, it's Keane that bears the brunt of the criticism by the media. Gerrard is another player with the spotlight on him. I just hope we don't get a repeat of last week where he pursues his 100th goal at the expense of the team.

I'm sure we'd all love to see the Torres & Keane partnership explode onto the scene against Everton, or even for Gerrard to get his 100th. But it's a team game, all that matters is that we win, not who scores.

This is going to be an interesting game. Everton are leaking goals and scoring lots. We're not leaking goals and we're not scoring lots.

I can see this being a scrappy game where both sides cancel each other out.

The worst thing about watching the derby is the Sky commentators. Biased idiots (Gray, Redknapp) who talk a load of crap.

I am betting that all 3 of them get off the mark with a goal a piece... better check the odds on that with the bookies...

I am more worried about Mike Riley being the ref. He hates us and always screws us over. We did the double over Everton last season and I would love for us to do that again this year :-)

Be worried about the ref. He's a maniac. He just sprays cards at players. I really don't know why he is the ref of one of the most physical matches in EPL. Hope we are not hurt by him.

This is totally shit, I cant believe its Riley again. He must be the worst ref ever !!

Well said Paul. Indeed one of my favourite memories is of Phil Neville putting into his own net.

Koptimistic -- A state of mind which causes you to believe that a speedy recovery from 3-0 down in a European Cup final against the favourites can happen again, and again, and again...
(note: discovered in 'Here We Go Gathering Cups in May')
:D Koptimism is the way to go!!!!

Koptimistic - is Cool. A good word coined :-).

It truly signifies the confidence and belief of a LFC fan.

@thedropper - Koptimistic, borderline genius :-)
