A reversal of fortunes seems in order

Since Rafa has been in charge, we've lost 7 and drawn only 1 game against Manchester United in the Premier League. That statistic doesn't paint the prettiest of pictures, but we can take some solace in that performance wise, we've been better on many occasions.

I'd even go so far as to suggest that at times, we've tried playing 'pretty' football, while they've dug their heels in for trench warfare. But tomorrow I reckon it'll be the other way around. To complete the reversal though, we'll have to secure the 3 points without actually deserving them ;-)

Lets get real here - United are going to destroy us tomorrow :-(

Utd wont destroy nothing... No ronaldo makes a HUGE difference to a Utd team that DREW WITH NEWCASTLE don't forget. Let Torres rest, watch Keano step up a gear, and lets hope Steve Bennet aint the official so Mascherano gets a full 90 minutes!

@dummy - can't wait for Keane to open his goal scoring account with us, fingers crossed, tomorrow will be the day. Also hope Torres gets rested.

@roger - i doubt any of want to lose again. Would prefer a win but will settle for a draw.

Our time will come - we are long overdue a win against the Scum - and what a mighty piss up it will be

@jessica - regardless of the result, it's only one game [read: I really, really hope for a win]

@paul grech - hmmm, there's something about that which sounds familiar ;-)

I would say today's match was a perfect to response to your last paragraph. We DID play pretty football and their defense had there feet stuck in the mud in our attack. We got the 3 points with deserving them, but I say that we deserved a bigger victory. But I am probably happier with a Wes Brown OG that a goal from one of our players.

Time for my plug, I have a blog for anybody that feels like reading it.

Arf! Well said, Todd. I remember like it was bloody yesterday (which it wasn't) when Dudek spilled that chance to Forlan - would you believe I actually thought Forlan would miss it. At least I had the consolation of not quite knowing what had happened from my seat in the Kemlyn. To be sitting in the Anfield Road must have been hell on earth. So to have been sitting in the Anfield Road yesterday and seeing just what a gift that goal was . . . superb
