....or at least that's how the saying goes. Poor Degen hasn't been the most popular character with many LFC fans lately, simply due to a string of very poor performances.
Degen has also been quite injury prone since joining LFC, and now LFC has confirmed that he picked up a yet another injury while 'playing' against Spurs. This means he'll be out for about 4 weeks.
Seems like good timing as Arbeloa is suspended for this weekend, so that should force Rafas hand in to playing either Carra (highly likely) or Darby (desirable, but highly unlikely) at right back.

I'd trust my grandmother buying jet fighters sooner than rafa buying fullbacks.
He's rather crap at it, it would appear...
It must be good news for the physio now that Kewell has left the club ;-)
i cant honestly believe the stick that degen is getting, " a string of poor performances" the guy has not even played 2 full games for us in my book thats not really a string is it
Apart from pre-season, and he missed most of that, he hasn't played at all.
He looked like a fish out of water the other night.
Darby is a quality right-back and should be given a chance.
I agree though, Rafa doesn't know much about full-backs. He got rid of one of the best left-backs in the country in Stephen Warnock. We need to buy him back. He's solid and dependable.
