The atmosphere at Anfield is set to explode

We've landed an absolutely mouth watering tie against Real Madrid in the next round of the Champions League. This is what the Champions League is all about, 2 giants of football facing off against each other in the knockout stages.

The atmosphere around Anfield can be disappointingly quiet at times, unless of course we're facing a big team or even our neighbours on derby day. But we can forget all about that with Real Madrid. The return leg at Anfield is virtually guaranteed to result in there being an awesome atmosphere amongst the fans. February & March can't come soon enough !

That is a little cheeky. Surely you are not suggesting Everton are a small team ;-)

This is a very very exciting draw. As long as we dont do anything stupid in the 1st leg, then yes we will have a very great atmosphere at home.

I'm worried about Benitez. He has supported Real Madrid all his life. Hope he doesn't try to be too clever with this game.

i always always get furious after draws, but after my rants of 'unfairness' and paranoia, i think you're right. mouthwatering it will be. but we gotta win.

Real are playing crap at the moment but they will be a different prospect at the end of February. Game on :-)
