Every single year we get Chelsea

It's getting a little tedious having to face Chelsea every year in the Champions League. 3 times in the semi's, once in the group stages, and now in the quarters. It's going to be a relatively tough draw, but we've got to fancy our chances of beating them yet again.

The semi-final will be a tough prospect with either Barcelona or Bayern Munich our opposition. But it would be kinda boring if we were just gifted a run to the final (which is pretty much what ManUre managed to land) and will make it all the more worthwhile if we do win.

Ahhh, we get to renew our old rivalry with Chelsea. It has, I'm afraid, lost much of its allure since Mourinho left them. It should be an exciting couple of games and I'm confident we'll beat them.

The Mancs are as good as in the final which means we have the potential for a very exciting final on our hands. I would love it absolutely love it if we beat them by a few goals again in the final :-)

*** I've deleted a couple of comments which some anonymous idiot has made about the 96 ***

@dummy - I'm also confident we'll beat them, just wish we had a little more variety in the Champions League each year ;-)

@jessica - I just hope we win it any way we can.

Paul Heron, can't you stop people from replying to a post anonymously? Some effin arseholes are disturbing the quality of this blog.

@abhiram - there's a couple of options, such as enabling comment moderation which would require me to pre-approve comments before they appear on the blog.
Unfortunately work, study, and sleep get in the way of that being effective given that people from around the world visit the site 24x7.

Another option which Blogger allows is to limit comments to people with Google or OpenID accounts, but very few people have those and I'd be excluding a lot of LFC fans from commenting if they felt the desire to say something.

It's rare enough that someone who is sufficiently psychologically disturbed feels the need to spam a blog with truly pathetic shite. In which case I'll just delete their shite and hope they'll seek the professional help they so obviously need.

I guess you have a very valid point there.

Great news for us. :)

Mancs and Chelski lose.... If we win tomo and i am confident that we'll win, we'll be just 1 point behind the Mancs.

Fergie's surely cracking up!! One heavy loss given by us and now his 'rants' are all over the net. Losing two matches in a row. Bring on the third too.... The next Manc game will be without Vidic, Scholes (not a factor to a certain extent) and Rooney :)..

@abhiram - am thrilled they lost today :-)

I reckon we can take Villa and Arsenal but I fear the smaller teams !?!
