LFC have come out with a statement, saying Gerrard is in the squad for tomorrows match (despite medical scans confirming he suffered a small strain in his adductor muscle). Granted this doesn't mean he'll actually play and Rafa says they'll make a late decision on this matter.
We've got a huge game with Arsenal next weekend, and having Gerrard ready for that seems far more important, so I hope LFC come to a similar conclusion and give the lad the rest he needs, rather than risk further injury.
With our relative strength in depth, we should be able to easily cope without Gerrard and beat Blackburn Rovers tomorrow. Also the next leg against Chelsea seems an unnecessary risk considering the consequences.

I'd like to have Gerrard sit out the blackburn game to get ready for arsenal but it is probably best to leave him in because we seem to need him in these easier games. I think the Prem League is more important then champs league so i hope rafa chooses what to do with that in mind :)
Well after looking back at the game against Fulham and Chelsea, I had these thoughts:
1- Fulham we were over confident and clumbsy.. This doesnt work for us.. We have shown intense concentration playing as under dogs.. This is how we should go on.. Manure have tough games coming up and we'll see what happens..
2- Chelsea game was great at the start and deffence let us down (I believe Mascherano's role in the squad is very essential and at times is more important than Stevie's role). Guus pumps was smart in studying LFC's previous matches and concentrating his efforts on pressurising LFC's deffence for we tend to slip in set peices as we have seen in this season. I still believe that we can wip their ass on Tuesday provided Rafa studies Chelsea's loss to Spurs in the EPL.. Mascherano will be there and I wish that Rafa puts J Spearing instead of Lucas and puts Aurelio in midfield and brings back Insua to Left back... You will see the result..
3- Stevie should be out for Rovers and Chelsea game.. All teams playing us are concentrating on stopping Stevie-Torres combination. So Rafa should work on a new un-expected plan to show that LFC is a unit and not based on 2 players..
I just hope and pray that Rafa gets the right decisions and not depend on Ngog, Zhar and Lucas..
Wish you guys all the best, cheers..

@Jack Kelsch - I doubt Rafa will start him, and if we score a couple of goals then surely Rafa won't even put him on as a sub. Tuesday night could be a different kettle of fish though, and I wouldn't be surprised (perhaps a little disappointed) if Rafa does end up playing him.
@Tawfiq The Red - being over confident often doesn't work for us, plus it's far more exciting when we're underdogs and winning. Ngog and El Zhar will never make it at LFC, and as much as Lucas frustrates, I still think he's got potential, maybe a loan deal would work for him and we could get a more complete and consistent player back.
