Citeh or Chelski can go and buy all the expensive players in the world but they can only play 11 of them on the field.We also have to remember the reason Moorse family sold the club, becuase he did not had the resurces to build new anfield at stanley park. If DIC buy us from clowns and 70 thousand plus seater stadium is built. It will increase our ticket revenue. They will market the Liverpool brand like we have not done before. It will increase our revenue in that respect. We must get rid of the clowns. Come on Liverpool!

@dummy - not sure if it's DIC or the Sheikh looking to buy. If it is DIC, then you could be right about them being little more than an investment vehicle. Hopefully they won't be scared away. But at least they might build a stadium !!

@J - it would be a dream come true (in a way) if the fans could buy the club and also finance the stadium. Sadly I doubt it'll come to fruition though. Too much money for most Reds fans. Shame really.

As a South African Red I agree with you, I am more concerned about the Reds poor performance and whatever it is that appears to be having a negative impact upon almost every player on the field. As for Man City, I pity any Manager who has to control at least eleven ego's running around the field, it will take them 12 months before they "connect" assuming they can that is. In the meantime lets get our act together.

In Liverpools heyday they bought the league titles through buying the best and most expensive players around and no fans were bothered. It's not DIC which is looking to buy Liverpool, it's the Sheikh and maybe he is looking to use it as a toy and no one is going to care if we buy more titles. We all just want to win.

Mad City will have to qualify for Champions league this year. This is the best they can hope for. Even with Robhinio I don't think they will finish top four. If they splash the cash on 5+ top players between Jan and the start of next season they may have a team capable of challenging for the title next year. The consequence of this for Liverpool is that 4th place would be near impossible let alone winning the title.

The DIC may be useful short term if they can finance the stadium. but the best way is for LFC supporters to buy the club.

They might be thinking to themselves that LFC is no longer an attractive investment simply because Chelsea & City are throwing money away. I think this is going to be really bad for LFC.

Even if DIC buy LFC and we have lots of transfer funds. Some of the youths we have got will still make the step up cos they are so good. I cant wait until Pachecho, Bruna and Dalla Valle start playing regularly for the first team.

I am worried that Manchester City will poise a major threat to us. I dont even want to think about what sort of players we can sign in the future. Hope we invest more in the youths.
