I thought Lucas had a good game...if he played for Wigan, and his shot at goal was a choice one, as for Babel the hopeless, Kuyt the headless chicken and Rafa the brainless one who has done so much to help Pool snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, the Wigan result could however be good news as this will hopefully make his contract negotiations more difficult and hopefully he will leave.

But from a more objective perspective, a front pairing of Torres & Gerrard does look that much better for LFC, and Keane is bound to want to leave if he's not getting a regular game. Scott I agree with you, Rafa has really spoilt the game for me, their was a time when I would have given someone else's left arm to see a live game at Anfield now I not so sure. I have an uneasy feeling that sonething dramatic is going to break at LFC if that happens I just hope something positive comes out of it and I can return to the days when I could not wait for the next game.....I live in hope!!

I didnt get the opportunity to watch the FA Cup game but after reading articles and forums it is more of the same old crap. Defensive tactics and ridiculous team selections. Paul, I am sure you are sick of me bagging Kuyt and talking up Robbie Keane, but it is a complete joke now. Why the F*** was Keane not even on the bench. Ok, his form has been up and down a little bit, but why on earth pay 20 million for him to twiddle his thumbs at home. Something is definitely not right at LFC, and it is showing in the performances and i am really worried. There is no way in the world that Dirk Diggler deserves a spot every week ahead of Robbie Keane, end of story. We have not been scoring enough goals since the Newcastle game, and funnily enough Keane has only played 60 minutes since that game. We have a great defence, so why not try to win games and attack. I really think Liverpool need to get rid of Hicks, Gillet, Parry and Benitez and start again. I am fed up with the current situation and can not see it improving unless at least one of the 4 mentioned above gets the boot.

Lads whats your pick on this Rafa and Robbie thing? What the fcuk is the story him not even on the bench?
Parry must have done that deal back then, as he doesn't seem to be Rafa's favour.
Fair enough he hasn't played the best since he's came, and has missed a few sitters which also hasn't helped, but its very odd not to include him at all.

I'm starting to think Rafa would rather prove a point that he wasn't in full control of that transfer by leaving him out, allowing the media to jump all over it and letting it come back to haunt Parry. Now he's refused his contract highlighting he wanted more 'control' over certain areas, i.e. transfers.

I'm thinking stubbornness will let our 20 million rot, rather than working with what we've got and trying to get the best out of Keane.

Total dominance second half, but a very frustrating game to watch.

If Babel and Kuyt had played well then Gerrard and Torres would have had far more opportunities to score. The rest of the side played very well (even Dossena) so they cant be faulted for the result. I wonder whats happening to Keane, it doesnt look too good there :-(

We always do better when its the 2 of them leading the attack supported by the solidity of Mascher and Alonso in midfield. Keane will be gone in the summer cos cos long term i bet he is not willing to just be a squad player.

I was bored shitless for the whole game with the exception of that one moment of sheer genius. It was also good to see Mascherano back on form but I'm not thrilled at the prospect of another worthless game in a couple of weeks time.
