Arf! Well said, Todd. I remember like it was bloody yesterday (which it wasn't) when Dudek spilled that chance to Forlan - would you believe I actually thought Forlan would miss it. At least I had the consolation of not quite knowing what had happened from my seat in the Kemlyn. To be sitting in the Anfield Road must have been hell on earth. So to have been sitting in the Anfield Road yesterday and seeing just what a gift that goal was . . . superb

I would say today's match was a perfect to response to your last paragraph. We DID play pretty football and their defense had there feet stuck in the mud in our attack. We got the 3 points with deserving them, but I say that we deserved a bigger victory. But I am probably happier with a Wes Brown OG that a goal from one of our players.

Realistically I see this being a 0-0 draw. Without Torres & Gerrard we will lack an attacking threat. Kuyt is too defensive minded, Riera is playing his first game and must be nervous about it.
Our midfield and entire defense is solid enough to keep ManU at bay for 90 mins (plus they are missing Ronaldo). I would really love it, absolutely love it if Keane were to nick his first goal for us and win the game :-)

You can bet your ass Rafa will have them playing negative football. Just look at the tactics for the Villa game. New boy Riera might liven things up but he cant be too used to the team yet so will look out of place at times. I would settle for a 0-0 draw. Anything but another loss would do me.

I hope the crap which Fergie was spewing about Keane will spur him on to score a couple of goals.
I don't like the idea of Torres being rushed back into action, Rafa tried that last year against Arsenal and it didn't work. Would be better to give him time to recover from his hamstring fully. It's going to be a long season.
